The Shortlisted candidates
We are delighted to announce the shortlisted candidates for the third European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award. All these towns, cities and regions, big and small, have excelled themselves in their contribution to a more equal and inclusive Europe. They have worked in a planned, systematic and sustained manner to achieve new outcomes of respect, empowerment, and participation for people across the diversity of age, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, sex, disability and lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) identity.
The winners in each category will be revealed on 25 April 2024.
